Replacing the Battery on 2021

I was told my Les Schwab (tire and battery company out here) that I should have my battery replaced by the dealer because there is a danger of overheating with third party batteries. Has anyone heard anything about the battery replacement being tricky? I just had the 'support' battery (that keeps the electronics on when the engines stop-starts) by my dealer.
