Should I change Trans fluid? Is it ok?

My car drives ok but sometimes i notice the trans gets stuck in a gear. In particular when I accelerate hard and let go. A gear stays in position vs going down one. Im sorry if i am not using the right terminology please educate me. In general my car runs fine. But i have noticed the trans acting up at times. FYI my car has 107000 Miles. and in good condition

I talked to the dealer and they said that they will not change out the trans fluid. then i talk to other owners and they say that they do.

Just wanted to reach out to this community and see what other owners have done and what they recommend. thanks

I can highly recommend changing the fluid. Have just done this job over the weekend on my 2016 D5 and the fluid was really brown and the changes were much smoother afterwards. I ended up doing 3 flushes through the trans so recommend buying plenty of fluid. And it takes quite a while for the trans fluid to reach the 50C temperature for the final fill so make sure you have time to let it warm up without load. Good luck!
