Rear shock/strut options for electric suspension

Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription

Hello beautiful people! I have a 2016 XC90 T8 Inscription with the auto-leveling suspension. I have had the car for 2 months and the pre-purchase inspection showed the rear shocks were leaking slightly. The mechanic I used (a trusted friend) said this isn't uncommon as these wear. The car has 85,000 miles. My question is this: Do I have to pay $1,400 for the Volvo branded shock/strut assemblies or are there aftermarket options? Also will this void my warranty?
