Which older models XC90 are most reliable and which to avoid?

Hello, new to the forum. My wife drives about 3000 miles a year. Were looking to purchase an older model XC 90. Any suggestion on which year model is considered most reliable? Engine / transmission. Many thanks!

2013 year will probably be a better bargen, as the last year (2014) of a certain body style always carries a premium.
