So, after 3k+ miles of driving after service, I wanted to give some more feedback. The dealership typically resets the adaptive shifts when servicing the transmission, so it's back to the factory silky smooth shifting without any short shifts or the occasional weird 2-3 upshift I noticed. Resetting adaptive shifts can be done without servicing the transmission, just ask your service person.
