Howdy, everybody.
A former employer of mine told me about his daughter's Volvo that had an issue he didn't feel like dealing with and that he would sell it for cheap if I could solve the issue.
The issue was that her boyfriend managed to break a spark plug and drop the ceramic into the cylinder.
I drove a couple hours over to the car and managed to remove all the debris with a tool I rigged up and drove it home the same day.
It was meticulously maintained by the original owner, so it's in great shape considering the mileage with a few very minor exceptions. This vehicle is a legitimately impressive machine! Gas mileage isn't great, but the ride quality and creature comforts for a vehicle manufactured in late 2009 are incredible!
For 1100 bucks, and a bit of ingenuity I was able to join the XC90 club!
