Vibrations in the bodywork, steering wheel, pedals etc. It doesn't matter if the car is stationary or in motion. Definitely worst at idle and at low temperature, and for some reason a little better at the 1,700-1,900 rpm range.

Vibrations occurred after the engine was replaced. It therefore seems obvious that the vibrations are caused by mistakes made during the engine replacement, or something with the engine itself.

The car has been at a Bosch test centre, which ruled out engine faults. The workshop then agreed to replace all engine and gearbox mounts (5 in total), but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem either.

The workshop acknowledges that the vibrations are unusual, but they do not see them as being caused by their engine replacement task. They might be right, but the vibrations weren't there before..

Any suggestions/hints for a cause of the vibrations would be appreciated
