- 2007 xc90 3.2 RHD
I imported this 2007 XC90 3.2 from Japan to Ottawa in 2024, I deliver rural mail and the XC90 has been my big hauler. Now 35,000km later I need a new steering rack. From a dealer it's around $1k so hoping to get aftermarket, wanted to start with the actual Volvo part number so I can maybe find an aftermarket rack that fits easier, as I will be ordering from Europe, its kinda got to be right first time. Start with the obvious, I assume the LHD and RHD steering rack are opposite, and have different part numbers. On a UK website I found part number 36050020 but also see this same number listed on a local Volvo dealer website, my local mechanic isn't having much luck finding a replacement, hence me looking in the dark.
