The power lift gate on my 2016 XC90 T6 Momentum doesn't properly close most of the time. This happens whether I press the button on my dash, key fob, or either button on the lift gate itself. Where the door stops isn't consistent either... sometimes it stops once and another key press closes it, other times I have to press the button 4 or 5 times when the door stops every few inches.
Has anybody had this happen or heard about this happening to anybody else?
My assumption is that the hand free sensor could be acting up and triggering accidentally, possibly from the hidden hitch that was installed by a previous owner. I rarely use the hitch so I'm planing to remove it to see if the issue resolves, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.
