For anyone who is trying to do the same: 1. Rear jack point is this protruding honeycomb like bit (you cant miss it if you look under) and in the front you will need to go a little further in to the metal frame. 2. Never found where this tool is supposed to be, you can get it off yourself with...

enable remote starter without subscription &|| disable Stop-Start System

are you saying there is a "ready" icon somewhere here that represents the status of the stop/start system:

enable remote starter without subscription &|| disable Stop-Start System

no, you're right at the time i just checked the icon in the center console and it stayed on after doing the procedure you said: looks like this: if you say the icon doesn't change but the result is stop/start just doesn't engage then i'm happy. I'll test it out later today.

enable remote starter without subscription &|| disable Stop-Start System

Thanks SRG, i finally had time to give this a try... are you sure the steps for permanently disable the start stop you provided are for a second gen 2016+? It chimes and acts as you say it should but there is no change to the start stop being turned off?

    TPMS sensors on winter tires?

i've heard some sensor-less systems being used by Audi and BMW (i think) but from what i can tell Volvo still uses physical sensors that have to be installed in the tire. no?

Hey guys, i picked up a set of winter rims+tires for my xc90 (2016) and wanted to get clarification on the TPMS sensor pairing process.
